Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) to Europe

We understand the challenges our customers have been facing, and we want to inform you that we have put a new solution in place to address them.

We have implemented a new Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service, which allows us to deliver goods to your doorstep without you facing the complexities of customs clearance and duty charges. To make this possible, we have partnered with a new carrier who has extensive experience handling customs clearance and delivery to Europe. Additionally, we have appointed a fiscal representative who will assist us in addressing any of our taxation needs that may arise during the delivery process.

We understand that our customers in the Eurozone look for great value, selection, and the most convenient delivery options when buying from CES. As such, we want to reassure you that our commitment to providing excellent service remains unchanged.

As easy as ordering locally
  • Cargo to an EU destination outside France is customs cleared at Calais or Dunkirk Smart Border.
  • Purchase your resources from GB with No VAT
  • No hidden import duties and administration costs. Customs formalities are handled by our logistics partner.
  • Get your orders without delay. You will receive your GB cargo in the same way you would do with an EU intra-community shipment.
DDP Smart Border – Regime 42
How does the regime operate:
  •  It is specific to shipments ex GB to EU destinations outside France.
  • Shipments from GB to most EU countries can be customs cleared as they transit France without the shipment being stopped unless customs insist on an inspection.
  •  Import customs formalities are completed in the name of the GB exporter.

The ‘EU A’ document will display BAE – Bon a Enlever – confirming that the cargo is cleared for free circulation in the EU without the need for further customs clearance at destination.

  • Regime 42 does not require VAT to be paid out.  Our logistics partner’s agent puts forward its Global VAT Number to enable VAT to be reversed charged.

  • Proof that the goods have left France is mandatory under Regime 42.  This entails:
    • (1)   The CMR to be stamped and signed by the consignee.
    • (2)   A document attesting that the consignee has received the goods.
  • The following details are required from our customer:

Deliver to (EU customer)
Name
Address (Delivery address)
VAT and EORI number for country of delivery

  • Shipments for Final Destination France  -  Regime 40 must be followed for importing cargo to France
